The construction of the long-awaited Marina Bridge (Jambatan Marina Miri) will officially launch on 22 July 2025.
Once completed, the bridge will shorten the travel distance from Miri Marina or the city centre to Pulau Melayu — from 10 kilometers to just 0.5 kilometers — and then to Lutong, only a few kilometers farther.
