AirBorneo has unveiled its new logo, and announced plans to begin operations in January 2026. The launch was officiated by Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari, who highlighted the airline as a milestone in Sarawak’s push toward international connectivity.
The brand slogan, “Borneo For You”, reflects AirBorneo’s vision to link Sarawak with the world, celebrate culture, and stimulate trade.
AirBorneo Chairman and Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki described the brand as more than a logo, but a promise to position Borneo on the global stage while bringing the world closer to Borneo.
The Premier emphasized that the airline will play a role in Sarawak’s Post-COVID Development Strategy 2030 by expanding ASEAN routes, creating jobs, supporting SMEs, and strengthening Sarawak as a regional economic hub.
AirBorneo will build upon and expand MASwings’ services, covering both domestic and rural air routes. Its design, inspired by Sarawak’s symbols and totems, represents unity and cultural diversity.
With the logo and slogan now revealed, the public eagerly awaits the next announcements — perhaps the aircraft livery, crew uniforms, or uniquely Sarawakian inflight meals.
