Pulau Melayu to Marina Bay Bridge: Miri River Bridge to Break Ground in July
The Miri River bridge, connecting Kampung Pulau Melayu and Marina Bay, is expected to break ground on Sarawak Day, July 22.
This project has already received approval from the Sarawak government.
There is a strong need for a bridge across the Miri River to ease travel between Lutong and Marina Bay. This bridge will allow vehicles to cross the river directly via the river mouth, offering a more convenient route for drivers.
The new Miri bridge, set to begin construction in July, will link Marina Bay to the opposite shore near the port area.
