Perodua is set to launch Malaysia’s first affordable electric vehicle, with a massive production plan scheduled by the end of 2025.
According to the Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Perodua will commence the production of its inaugural EV model in line with the New Industrial Master Plan 2030.
Perodua has been chosen to spearhead the manufacturing of affordable electric vehicles as part of this strategic initiative.
