The Persatuan Prihatin Masyarakat Miri (PPMM) will host a charity cake sharing event called ‘Kek-Nyalang’ on July 22, from 2pm to 4pm, at Boulevard Shopping Mall, Miri, in conjunction with Sarawak Day.
The event, themed “Ethnic and Cultural Diversity,” aims to support individuals with different abilities (OKU). More than 60 local cake brands will offer over 100 types of cakes.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a cake to share or contribute RM50 to enjoy the cake tasting. All proceeds will go to Oikos Centre Miri. OKU representatives from invited organisations will receive a 5kg bag of rice as a token of appreciation.
