The center is located on the ground floor of the former Miri City Council administrative building, where renovation work is currently in full swing. The AI doctor consultation pods will be placed on the left side of the ground floor, while the human doctor consultation area will be on the right. The first floor will eventually be developed into a nursing training unit.

Fudan University has been developing AI-based medical systems in China for the past three years, and the Miri project consists of three phases:
1️⃣ Establishing a new drug research and development center
2️⃣ Setting up an academy combining modern medicine, traditional medicine, and AI-driven medical science
3️⃣ Establishing a branch campus of Fudan University

The core strength of AI medical systems lies in the quality of their database. The larger and more comprehensive the collection of clinical experience and medical case records, the more powerful the AI becomes.
While a typical human doctor may be familiar with around 300 diseases and able to accurately treat about 150, an advanced AI doctor can identify and manage more than 10,000 diseases, demonstrating its remarkable capabilities.

The center aims to gather high-quality medical data from Miri to help develop even more advanced AI medical technologies.
