The very first Doremart store was established in Sri Aman by a young couple with no prior retail experience.
Driven by passion and determination, they built the business from scratch — personally handling everything from product sourcing to customer service.

2016 – 2020｜Steady Expansion
With a focus on affordability, practicality, and community needs,
Doremart gradually opened more outlets in Betong, Sarikei, and Sibu,
laying the foundation for a strong community-based supermarket network across Sarawak.

2021｜A New Identity
To present a more professional image, the brand officially rebranded from “Doremon” to “Doremart.”
That same year, Doremart had 8 outlets across Sarawak and entered Tropics City, Kuching,
launching its largest flagship store to date.

2022 – 2024｜Growth Across Sarawak
Doremart accelerated its expansion, opening more outlets in Kuching (3 in total) and venturing into Bintulu and other developing towns.
With a growing team and retail network, Doremart strengthened its position as one of Sarawak’s most trusted household brands.
